About the Team

Our CMCMT culture is integral to this team. We put a strong emphasis on building a kind, caring community that supports all its members. We host regular team events, such as casual trips to the beach, study sessions, and game nights.

We compete in three or four tournaments in the Fall. In the past, these tournaments have been in places like Phoenix, Santa Barbara, Las Vegas, and Berkeley. Additionally, we host the first round of AMTA Regionals in the spring. After Regionals, we compete the Opening Round Championship Series (ORCS), from which top teams head to the National tournament. 

Mock Trial stands out as an activity because the abilities it cultivates reach well beyond legal settings. Participating in Mock Trial strengthens skills that positively impact your education, everyday interactions, and future career: problem solving, clear communication, confidence, and presence.
