Joining is easy. No experience is necessary; with a little hard work and dedication, you can go from asking what hearsay is to winning awards. You can find more information about our program in our printable information materials (pdf).

You have a number of ways to get involved.

• Step 1: Talk to Us
  • Contact us: We'll answer your questions and fill you in on the next information session or meeting.
  • Visit us at Club Fair: On September 4th at 12pm in front of Collins, some MTers will man a booth to answer questions and get you signed up for an info session and tryouts.
  • Come to the Information Session: We’ll also be holding an informal information session and barbeque on September 6th at 7pm in the South Quad Barbeque pits where you can meet current members, ask some questions, and check out this year’s case “State of Midlands v. Jackie Owens” -- a murder trial.
• Step 2: Tryout
  • Tryouts are laid back, don't worry. We just want to see that you're interested and willing to make a commitment
• Step 3: Participate
  • Role and responsibilities on Mock Trial are fluid, and we reward skill, talent, and dedication. There are numerous opportunities for leadership positions--you just have to want them.
