Last year, CMC picked up eight individual awards and not only sent two teams to the first round of Nationals, but also—for the first time in program history—advanced one to the Championships, where we the only team to claim victory against the eventual champions.Read More

No experience is necessary; with a little hard work and dedication, you can go from asking what hearsay is to winning awards.

Claremont McKenna College Mock Trial is a student-run collegiate instructional trial advocacy program devoted to the understanding of courtroom legal procedures. Using case materials provided by the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA), CMC Mock Trial devotes its time to evaluating and understanding facts and issues through a legal curriculum and to developing witness personalities and effective speaking skills in order to present the case in a competitive format. Mock Trial offers a practical tool for legal instruction to its students, as well as an ability to travel nationally to compete against the top colleges and universities in the country.
